In a new three-way collaboration, Dr. Martens has partnered with Japanese streetwear labels A BATHING APE and mastermind JAPAN to revamp the 1461 shoe, merging subcultures alongside the brand identities. With the release of the BAPE x Mastermind Japan x Dr. Martens 1461 ‘Skull,’ three worlds collide in a new three-way collaboration to create a lace-up that merges subcultures from East and West. Dr. Martens’ iconic 1461 silhouette features a black leather upper with Mastermind’s skull and crossbones logo on the right side of both shoes, and BAPE’s signature Shark icon on the left side of each shoe. While the sock liner displays the logos of all three creative partners. Signature yellow welt stitching attaches the upper to the air-cushioned rubber sole.
